Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A plane transporting Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet touched down based on standard procedures and all passengers, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a press officer said in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the first time that a American defense plane carrying a top government figure has suffered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
