The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and often competes against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments this year and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He is the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"And he's an even better individual. He told me to go out there, have fun, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face some of top competitors in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA commented that involving Kai exposes golf to new audiences, specifically with youth audiences.
